I feel like I must be dreaming right now! Everything is going so well for me at the moment, seems like someone up there is trying to make up for the shitty past few months lol.

On friday I found out I was accepted into UMaine's college of marine science and ecology, which took a TON of the college pressure off of me. I didn't want to resort to going to UMASS. Not that it's a bad place, but it's huge and feels like a city. So, I was very happy to hear about UMAINE, as it is a wonderful place, and I would be happy to go there if I don't get into one of my top choices.

On saturday I bought another tarantula, this time a Rose Hair. [link] I got all A's (and one B+ in AP stat lol), so my parents allowed it haha. She's gorgeous, and I'm naming her Swimmy to confuse people. She's got the sweetest temperment too. ;.;

Aaaand I also got two Wii games: Endless Ocean, and Harvest Moon: Animal Parade. Probably not the type of games most of you are into, but they're fun as hell to play with my sister. And Endless Ocean is just awesome.

So, I fell asleep on saturday night, thinking that things could not get any better.

I woke up.
Checked the common app website (where colleges keep you updated on the application process).
And saw that I WAS ACCEPTED INTO FUCKING HARVARD.
Don't ask me how I got in, I don't fucking know rofl.

I did NOT expect to get in. I only applied because my mom went to the Kennedy School, so I was able to apply as a VIP (aka: you find out if you're in early). I've already applied early decision to Oberlin, so I HAVE to go there if they accept me (and it's still my top choice for several reasons), but goddamn. Harvard. Fucking Harvard.

I've been out celebrating all day in Harvard Square, and this seriously might be the best weekend of my life.

I kept telling myself I wouldn't brag when I find out what colleges I'm accepted into, but I can't help it. I'm too excited. XD
